Murder at Redrum Manor

Synopsis:
'Murder at Redrum Manor' is a piece of theatre like no other. It is presented as a play within a play. With the real storyline starting from scene 2 onwards, we get to know the amateur actors and backstage crew putting on their new production, set in the 1920's, in the style of Agatha Christie.

When the production comes to a halt due to technical difficulties, the director is murdered. The cast and crew relive the events leading up to the death, in reverse, allowing the audience to work out who the killer is.

Jack and the Beanstalk Pantomime

Synopsis:
Jack is a poor boy from a poor family. When forced into poverty by the evil Witch Poison Ivy, Jack is forced to sell his best friend Buttercup, a cow. On the way to Market Jack meets an old lady who trades the talented cow for some magic beans. The beans grow an impressive stalk through the sky and past the clouds!
But up in the clouds is an evil Giant, possessed by the witch. Buttercup is taken up to the Giant to feed his hunger. But the Giant's Achilles heal is harp music, which puts him instantly to sleep.

She Sells Sea Shells

Synopsis:
Elliot and his girlfriend Julie go for a romantic getaway to the beach. Then Elliot kills himself. This isn’t the first time. For a boy who can never die, suicide becomes a temper tantrum, no matter how traumatising it is for his friends and family. As the past and future threaten to coincide, Elliot finds that an ordinary sea shell may hold the secrets to his immortality.

News

Synopsis:
Headline News is set in Virginia, America in 1993. This biographical show shows the court proceedings of Lorena and John Wayne Bobbitt. With direct quotes and real life drama, this show gives audiences a new perspective, and new information on one of Headline News biggest stories.

Synopsis:
The production aims to challenge what many deem ‘the gay voice’ up and down the country, dates currently around February and March 2023; with more venues to be announced soon. Born from the final project of a Masters degree in Theatre at Loughborough University, writer and performer Tom Stevenson comments “You don’t need a degree in drama to understand and enjoy the play”. The 29 year old budding playwright has just embarked on a PhD in the affect of sound in the theatre, “The play is the culmination of scientific and philosophical research into performed sexuality combined with my own experience of ‘what it means to be gay’ interwoven into a narrative structure that is gripping and actually very funny.”

Waiting Room

Synopsis:
A Saturday night shift in a hospital A&E department takes an unexpected turn when a mysterious woman enters the waiting room and disrupts the routine. Dr Green is suspicious of the new nurse on the ward, David, as a complaint finds its way into his pigeon hole. The receptionist, Rachel, looks on as the chaos ensues unaware that the nights events would ultimately unsettle her just as much.
As the medical trio try to fight their way through the night, they are constantly interrupted by a sea of whimsical and extraordinary patients visiting accident and emergency with the most petty ailments. By the time the shift is over they have dealt with inky infections, unpredicted pregnancy and hostile hen parties.

Aladdin Pantomime

Synopsis:
When street rat Aladdin frees a genie from a lamp, he finds his wishes granted. However, he soon finds that the evil has other plans for the lamp -- and for Princess Edith. But can Aladdin save Princess Edith and his love for her after she sees that he isn't quite what he appears to be?

Filled with wonderful one liners and character humour suited, there is something for everyone in this pantomime.

Sleeping Beauty Pantomime

Synopsis:
Princess Beauty is forced to be married to her parents chosen suitor, but she doesn't want to. With the help of her nanny and best friend Dame Pipper-Crit they go on the hunt for true love. Only to find it's been under her nose the whole time.
But the wicked Witch Agatha Gadafi has other plans for Princess Beauty. With the help of Prince Dave and Sparky will they save the kingdom? Will Beauty marry her true love?

Adaptation of Henrik Ibsen Play
Synopsis:
Originally written in the 1800's, Tom Morley has updated and renovated this dark and twisted script by the second most performed play write after Shakespeare.
Following the life and reliving the history of the Alving family - there are so many twists and turns from illness to revelations of infidelity.
